Anyone ever heard of Aly and AJ? I love them. If not, I'll tell you a bit about them. Alyson Michalka and Amanda Joy Michalka are there real names. Aly is on a show called Phil of the Future on disney channel. They also are in a movie together called Cow Belles which is being showed on disney channel too! There first CD is called Into the Rush. It has twelve original songs that thwy wrote along with two covers. Do you Beliieve in Magic and Walking On Sunshine. These sisters really inspire me and I hope to meet them someday and go to there concerts. Did I mention that they are only two years apart?
I've heard of them. and they are Ok. i've seen the moovie and also the show.
I like them. My sister doesn't like them, don't know why though.

I know them, yes, but must say I don't know so many songs. I like what I heard though...
I like Aly and AJ. My friend Michelle is obsessed with them though. Thanks for all the facts!
I personally don't like the album. It sounds rushed production wise, and the lyrics are nothing special. One of them sounds like an ashley simpson wannabe, they even use the same synth affect on her voice. I still love them though. THe producer did a great job on making them sound good. I'd be surprised if they coudl sing it well live. I heard chemicals react on some net station somewhere, and grabbed the album. SHine, sticks and stones, and chemicals react are the only good songs on the album. I like shine the best.
well yes they do sound good live! In fact, they are awesome! i just went to there concert. I like them because they write there own songs and it comes from there hearts. Sticks and Stones is a wonderful song because they wrote it about kids being bullied. I even got to meet them and get there autograph! They are so nice and down to earth!
I know nothing about them but just came across this funny review of one of their songs:

Aly and AJ follow the belated success of the self-discovery anthem “Rush”, huge on Radio Disney but a relative blip on the Billboard charts, with an MOR
pop-rock trifle that's got one foot in the arena. For a song with such an obvious conceit (the relationship is complicated but makes sense when the chemicals
react), the wordplay is half-hearted; "I'm out of my element” is about as punny as it gets. It pales in comparison to Hilary Duff's "The Math”, pretty
much the same premise, different school subject. What's interesting is that the chemicals in question clearly refer to biological urges commonly associated
with hot, sinful premarital sex, which doesn't quite mesh with the duo's wholesome image or their latent fundamentalism. That's probably a good thing,
but the conflict doesn't lead the song anywhere interesting. What if they finally realized that they
ain't nuthin' but mammals after all?
I also met them on the same day and at the same time as poster 7. I know this board hasn't been seen in ages, but I'm bringing it back. like their stuff, though their Christmas album only has two songs that they wrote themselves. It would have been more creative if they had written all of the music on it, rather than doing covers of all of the songs that most of us know.
correction, most of the songs that we know, and yes, they are very down-to-earth
